The Arbitration Service guarantees accessible means of communication with the applicant within the meaning of the BGG.

For example, a person with a visual impairment may submit the application to initiate an arbitration procedure or other documents to the Arbitration Service in a form which is intelligible to him or her. The Arbitration Service also guarantees accessible means of communication for persons with learning, intellectual or psychological impairments using simple, intelligible language.

To guarantee accessibility during the arbitration procedure, the Arbitration Service asks the applicant about the nature of his or her disability and any special disability-related requirements.
